Nagaland is a mountainous state in northeast India, bordering Myanmar. It's home to diverse indigenous tribes, with festivals and markets celebrating the different tribes' culture. Its capital city of Kohima suffered heavy fighting in World War II, commemorated by memorials at the Kohima War Cemetery. The Nagaland State Museum exhibits ancient weaponry, a ceremonial drum and other traditional Naga cultural artifacts.

Have breakfast and take an excursion to Khonoma located 20 KMS away from Kohima in the west. Khonoma is village of Angami tribes having the customs of courage &valour. In the history it is written that Khonoma village protected numerous villages in its previous good time. The gate of the village speaks the British access’s story at the hills of Naga. Also visit War Cemetery a memorial of the soldiers during World War II. Take a tour of the Museum which has rare article’s collection of various tribal communities of Nagaland that tells the Naga’s tradition & history. Pay a short visit to local tribal market. If time permits visit Kigwema village also known as Kepfiizha and have lunch at Dimori Cove Guesthouse. You may visit Angami Tribal village at Jakhama and a Village Resort at Touphema this is operated by the community of AngamiNagas. Later enjoy the cultural appearance done by the folks of village. Khonoma to Seikhakie 3 km 1 hrs Trek
Today we start our day by touring Khonoma village, the "first green village in India", You can expect and look forward to hear and see – History, Culture, Tradition and Nature. Traditional lunch. Post lunch trek to SEIKHAKIE base camp for overnight stay, log cabin and tents- enjoy the camp-fire fun
Base camp – DZUKOU VELLY 6 KM 3 TO 4 HRS TREK.
After breakfast gear up and start the trek to Dzukou valley which at an altitude of 2700 metres above sea level. Though it is assume to be a hard trek we may see some wild animals, birds as we are going through ‘Khonoma Nature Conservation and Tragopan Sanctuary’. Lunch at Dzukou valley.after which explore the valley of eternal charm where you will find a serpentine stream flowing leisurely through the valley. The whole valley is covered with a stout bamboo and when viewed from distance, it looks like a golf course. Overnight Dzukou Tent.
DZUKOU VELLY TO SEIKHAKIE 9 KM 3 TO 4 HRS TREK
Morning, We shall explore the valley by ourselves. After breakfast – OPTION trek to water fall which is approximate 3km away from your camping site. OR leisurely trek down towards Dzuleke village with packed lunch. Received by the locals at a Morung traditionally. Relax for sometime and move around the village . Overnight DzulekeMorung- Male dormitory or Homestay.
